Bijou is a young seal bicolour Ragdoll male with a deep mask drawn by an almost perfect inverted V: nicely symmetrical, rising high between the ears and never spilling onto the cheeks — exactly the outline the standard looks for in a bicolour. Big eyes of an intense blue, a silky coat and a snowy chest complete the picture. Born at the Royaume d’Élégance cattery, he promises to be a wonderfully gentle companion and a most promising future stud for the cattery.

A seal bicolour Ragdoll and a proven stud: 17 descendants recorded on PawPeds, born of matings with fine French and Polish lines — and several of his children already have offspring of their own. It is from him that Bijou takes his deep mask, his cleanly drawn inverted V and his wonderfully gentle temperament.

Both parents are HCM and PKD tested, both clear homozygous (N/N).

Bijou was screened in September 2026 on the MyCatDNA / Wisdom Panel feline DNA panel — two trade names for the same Finnish laboratory, Genoscoper. 49 genetic diseases screened, including the Ragdoll HCM mutation (MYBPC3 R820W) and PKD, 29 traits, blood type and genetic diversity.

Nothing found: neither affected nor a carrier, on any of the 49 diseases. Blood type A, genotype A/A. Genetic diversity 34 %, average for the breed. And no colour recessive at all: no chocolate, no dilution, no cinnamon.
