Brontë joined us at the end of July 2026. A young seal tabby point bicolour Ragdoll female, she wears a delicate tabby mask, outlined ears and big eyes of a luminous blue, on a silky coat with an immaculate chest. She is the very portrait of her dam, Echo de Narcisse Zeend S. Bred at the Écho de Narcisse cattery, she already shows every promise for our future litters.

Dam’s side — Echo de Narcisse Zeend S

A blue tabby bicolour Ragdoll from the Écho de Narcisse cattery. It is from her that Brontë takes all her beauty: the same bicolour pattern, the same delicate tabby markings and those big, intensely blue eyes. She is also an attentive, careful mother who raises her litters with great calm — a point that weighed in our choice: a kitten raised by a serene, attentive mother generally approaches her own litters better.

Sire’s side — Zooko de Golden Victoria

A chocolate tabby point mitted Ragdoll born at the Golden Victoria cattery, with a silky coat and a velvet gaze. Chocolate being recessive, a chocolate sire necessarily passes the allele to all his offspring: Brontë, who expresses seal, is therefore a chocolate carrier by descent — a useful point to know for our future matings.

Both parents are HCM and PKD tested, both clear homozygous (N/N).

Brontë was screened in September 2026 on the MyCatDNA / Wisdom Panel feline DNA panel — two trade names for the same Finnish laboratory, Genoscoper. 49 genetic diseases screened, including the Ragdoll HCM mutation (MYBPC3 R820W) and PKD, 29 traits, blood type and genetic diversity.

Nothing found: neither affected nor a carrier, on any of the 49 diseases. Blood type A, genotype A/A. Genetic diversity 35 %, average for the breed. The test confirms her two colour recessives: carries chocolate and carries dilution.
